EKWUEME

EKWUEME!
The title of this write-up is from the Ibo tribe in Nigeria. It means “what He says He do”. GOD is a living GOD. There are still some groups of people who still doubt the existence of this GOD. Many still doubt His Supremacy and Potency. Many are still learning and yet to come to the knowledge of the truth that All Power belongs to Him. He is Jehovah Shammah (Jehovah is there). Jehovah means the self-existing Almighty GOD. We are talking about GOD that created the heavens and the earth; we are talking about a GOD that sits in heaven and makes the earth His footstool. This is a GOD that is the Beginning and the Ending. He is the Ancient of Days. This is a GOD that chooses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and GOD that choose the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. This is a GOD that sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretch out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in. All his creations are wonderful and beautiful. He who has being on the Atlantic ocean or any ocean or sea will know surely there is a GOD.
Numbers 23 vs. 19: GOD is not a man, that He should lie, neither the son of man, that He should repent; has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?
Whatsoever He says, He does; whatsoever He does, He has said it. Only men say and don’t do. This GOD is more able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever ask or think of. In the beginning He said let there be light and there was light. He said let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from waters, it came to pass. He told Abraham I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth, it came to pass. He also told him Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed despite her old age; yet He did as He has spoken. There is nothing He says and He doesn’t do. Why not believe in this GOD? Why not hold on to this GOD? Why not serve this GOD with all your heart and might? Why not give Him the chance in your life? It is well with us.

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
