STAYING IN HIM

STAYING IN HIM!!!

To stay in something is to remain in the thing. Staying in something is being steadfast. To be steadfast is when something is fixed, steady and unchanging. Staying in something is firmly loyal, constant and unswerving. The HIM in context is the Vine. JESUS is the Vine, we are the branches. When a branch is detached from the Vine, it dies gradually. When a branch is detached form the Vine, it fades away. When a branch is detached from the Vine, it becomes unfruitful. When a branch is detached from the Vine it withers. All these occur because the Vine supplies nutrients to the branch. All these occur because without the Vine, the branch can’t produce fruit. It is paramount a man stays in HIM. Staying in the Vine should be of utmost priority to a man. John 15 vs. 4-5: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself; except it abide in the Vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the Vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye  can do nothing. Without the Vine (JESUS) we can do nothing. Because it’s the Vine that strengthens. Philippians 4 vs. 13: I can do all things through CHRIST which strengthen  me.  A man needs to steadfast in the Vine, so he can be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth. A man needs to stay in HIM and obey his command so all his requests can be granted. John 15 vs. 7: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. A man needs to stay in HIM so he wouldn’t wither and be casted  into the fire. John 15 vs. 6: if a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as  a branch and is withered; and me gather them and cast them into fire and they burned. A man needs to stay in HIM so he can produce bountiful harvest. A man needs to stay in HIM so he can bring great glory to the Father. John 15 vs. 8: Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit so shall ye be my disciples. Matthew 4 vs. 16: Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven. A man that bears good fruit and reap bountifully abides in Him. Start this week by asking GOD for the grace to stay in Him. When you stay in Him that is when He can stay in you. Kindly, share with others. It is well with us…

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES 2! An earthly father will be delighted and willing to do more for his son or daughter, when she/he shows gratitude. How will you feel when you give something tangible to a person and he didn’t show gratitude? You will feel unwilling to do more for such person. Our heavenly Father deserves to be shown gratitude for all He has done in our lives. Thank GOD for what He has done in the past, what He is doing presently and what He will do in the future. There is no little testimony; you just have to appreciate GOD for his faithfulness and marvelous deeds. Marvelous deeds like, the gift of life, which is the greatest of all blessings, good health and sound mind, sleeping and waking up. Many slept and never woke up, while many find it difficult to sleep. We have to see reasons to appreciate GOD; doing these will gladden Him to do more for us.              However, problems, trials, challenges might be in...
