LET GO!

LET GO!

There is a saying that goes thus “To err is human to forgive is divine”. To let go is to stop holding something. All beings commit sins and make mistake. No one is perfect save our GOD. We are all walking towards that, JESUS enjoined us in Matthew 5 vs. 48: Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. GOD forgives us, He is a merciful GOD. He is longsuffering. Forgiveness is divine. Men find it difficult many a time to forgive their fellow being. Mistakes and offences are inevitable you have to cultivate the habit of forgiving easily. Many like holding grudges; many have no heart to forgive. Many have no heart to show mercy. Many believe they are not in position to let go when offended physically or emotionally. There is possibility you might not forget when someone hurts you, but letting go and forgiving helps you move on. If GOD can be merciful unto us, despite our debts of sin; he didn’t condemn us; yet he still sent his only begotten son JESUS CHRIST to die for us, then we should forgive those that offend us. His love for us is immeasurable. Romans 5 vs. 8: But GOD commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners CHRIST died for us. Forgiveness is exhibiting love. A man that has GOD’s love will find it easy to forgive those who offend him. GOD’s love for us made it easy and possible to forgive us. I observe little children forgive easily. Little children might quarrel with each other now and in an hours’ time they start playing together again. It is we adults that hold grudges and keep malice. No wonder JESUS said in Matthew 18 vs. 3: And said, verily I say unto you, except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. An unforgiving heart will be adamant and can’t receive anything from GOD. If GOD is an unmerciful GOD and unforgiving GOD no man will stand till date. The Psalmist says in Psalm 130 vs. 3: If thou mark iniquities, O LORD, who shall stand? But GOD in his mercies forgives us easily. Unforgiving is the work of the flesh, a man of the spirit will let go and forgive easily. Matthew 6 vs. 14-15: For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you; but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses. Let go of that grudge, it will only be a burden to you and will cause hindrances to your prayer. It might hurt you when you are offended; but you hurt yourself more when you do not forgive. It continues tomorrow. Kindly, share with others. It is well with us…

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
