HE THAT IS ABOVE

HE THAT IS ABOVE
To be above is to be in a higher place. To be above is to be superior. To be above is to be higher in rank, status and position. To be above is to surpass all. To be above is to be higher in all measures, degree, and volume. To be above is to be on top. John 3 vs. 31: He that cometh from above is above all; he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth; he that cometh from heaven is above all. GOD is He that is Above. He is sovereign. He sitteth in Heaven and makes the earth his footstool. Isaiah 66 vs. 1: Thus saith the LORD, the heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool; where is the house that ye build unto me? And where is the place of my rest? No wonder his thoughts are not that of men, neither are his ways that of men. Isaiah 55 vs. 8-9: For my thoughts are not your thought, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than yours. He sitteth upon the circle of the earth and inhabitants are as grasshopper. Isaiah 40 vs. 22: It is he that sitteth upon the cicle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in. Jethro acknowledged He is above all other gods. Exodus 18 vs. 11: Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods; for in the thing therein they dealt proudly he was above them. The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 97 vs. 9:  For thou, O LORD art high above all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods. Psalm 135 vs. 5: For I know that the LORD is great, and that our LORD is above all gods.

Moreover, GOD our father expects us his children to also be above. Unfortunately, many are below and not above. To be above you must hearken diligently unto the voice of GOD. To be above you must observe and to do all his commandments which he commands us to do. That is when GOD will set us high above all nations of the earth. Deuteronomy 28 vs. 1: And it shall come to pass if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD  thy GOD, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy GOD will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. Vs. 13: And the LORD shall make thee the head; and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only; and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy GOD which I command thee this day to observe and to do them. As children of the GOD that is above, He expects us to be the head and not tail, above and not beneath. Start this week by asking for grace to be steadfast in observing and doing all GOD commands so he will lift you above. Kindly, share with others. It is well with us.

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
