AND IT'S DESIRE

AND IT’S DESIRE
The world is not ours. There is more to life than this world. We are on a temporary permit in this world. Nobody knows what happens tomorrow, no one knows what happens few minutes and hours from now. We are to set our affections on things above and heavenly things; rather than things of this world. Seeking GOD’s kingdom should be our priority. Life after this world leads to eternity. You either end up in Heaven or Hell. The New Heaven and New Earth is only meant for those that do GOD’s will while on earth. This present earth and heaven will pass away. 2 Corinthians 4 vs. 18: So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. It is good to believe in things yet to be seen, than things seen already. We have all seen what this world is like, but we haven’t seen the New Heaven and New Earth. It is good we examine ourselves daily, am I still qualified for this New Heaven and New Earth? It is good we checkup on our desires for the world. We are to thirst and hunger for doing GOD’s will, so we can see HIM in glory.
What is GOD’s will? GOD’s will is GOD’s rule and commandment. It is GOD’s way. JESUS said in John 4 vs. 34: My meat is to do the will of HIM that sent me, and to finish his work. GOD’s will must always be done. Matthew 6 vs. 10: Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. What does GOD’s will lead to? It leads to everlasting life. When you do GOD’s will always, you are guaranteed of an everlasting life. It leads to peace of mind. People find it difficult doing GOD’s will; because they are so choked and carried away by the desires and pleasures of this world. What do you desire? Desire is to want, to wish for earnestly. All desires are found in CHRIST, all desires outside CHRIST is vain. Worldly desires will pass away, only a doer of GOD’s will; will live forever. 1 John 2 vs. 17: The world and its desire pass away, but the man who does the will of GOD lives forever. This verse of the bible should be our watchword. JESUS said in Matthew 6 vs. 33: But seek ye first the kingdom of GOD, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. He said in Vs. 34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. GOD knows our needs and desires, He will surely grant them, but we must seek his kingdom and righteousness first. Let’s devote ourselves to GOD’s kingdom. Let’s desire doing GOD’s will. Let’s show we truly love GOD by doing his will and commandment. Wherefore, if GOD so clothe the grass of the field which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? It is well with us….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
