STOP COMPLAINING!

                          STOP COMPLAINING!

Complaining is an act of being annoyed, unhappy or not satisfied about somebody or something. It is a bad habit. When you complain it shows a lack of faith in GOD. When faced with problems, trials, rather than complain why not trust GOD to handle them. Complaining won’t solve your problems, trusting in the problem solver will. Many a times, we focus on our problems, talking about it, thinking about it, complaining; instead of focusing on GOD and trusting him to help us. Complaining is a common thing now in the world. Many are like the Israelites despites GOD’s wonders, awesomeness to them, they still grumbled, complained and are not satisfied. The bible said “then all the people began weeping aloud, and they carried on all night”. The voices rose in great chorus of complaint against Moses and Aaron.” we wish we had died in Egypt”, they wailed or even here in the wilderness, rather than be taken into this country ahead of us. Jehovah will kill us there, and our wishes and little ones will become slaves. Let’s get out of here and return to Egypt! What an ungrateful generation, many are like that; they prefer to kill themselves than face the trials and circumstances. Crying or weeping won’t solve your problems, neither will grumbly always do. When you complain, it shows you are doubting GOD’s ability to help you, just as the Israelites did. Are you like the Israelite? The bible said GOD’s plans towards us are of good and not of evil to give us an expected end. He is our father, he hasn’t forgotten us; you just need to trust him to help you; because only GOD is the problem solver, only GOD is a miracle worker, only GOD is a storm stopper, only him is the mountain mover, only him is the solution to anything you are facing. GOD said to Moses and Aaron, “how long will this wicked nation complain about me?” GOD is asking you, “How long will you continue doing? Rather keep trusting him, for you shall come out victorious at the end. The bible said the heart of men is deceitful and wicked who can know it, many complain, instead of praising GOD, GOD sees you as wicked when you complain. Many of us are ungrateful, when you are faced with difficulty or trials and you still have the greatest of all blessings which is the gift of life, then there is still hope for you. That is enough for you to know, you still have hope. People that complain don’t get to their promise land, just the Israelites; people that do not complain get to their promise land. Your promise land is that expected end GOD plans for you. Are you a complainer? See reasons why you shouldn’t complain, rather trust GOD and thank him for he is bringing you out of the problems. Stop complaining, instead keep trusting GOD. It is well with us….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
