NEGATIVITY

                              NEGATIVITY
The word Negativity is a tendency to consider only the bad side of something. It does mean a lack of enthusiasm or hope. Are you a negative thinker? Are you a negative person? You shouldn’t be, because negativity leads to doubt, weakness, fear and you end up being a loser. We are to be positive thinkers, because we have a GOD of possibility, positivity leads to strength, faith, hope and you end up a victor. The choice is yours, though there are times or circumstances that will shook your faith, you have to be positive to overcome them. You have to declare boldly, hoping I will come out of this circumstance; the Psalmist says I have set the lord beside me, because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Positive people are always overcomers, because they always believe they have a GOD and they are not moved by their situations. Job passed through a hard time, though sorrowful and down; yet he was positive, been positive is you telling GOD I cast all my burdens on you, care for them, been positive is you declaring like the Psalmist the Lord is my light and my salvation, who shall I fear! I have come to realize what people say with their mouth, comes to pass. The bible said as a man thinketh so is he. A positive thinker is a positive man, while a negative thinker is a negative man, which are you? An adage says what you say, will create what you will see. It’s always good to speak positive words anytime, any day, because words that proceeds out of the mouth are like seeds, they grow and germinate. Job’s wife told him to curse GOD and die, but he was a positive thinker; he as a positive man. We are to be positive in any situation we find ourselves, saying positive words help you win a battle.

Moreover, Caleb was a positive man he reassured the people as they stood before Moses. “Let us go up at once and possess it”, he said, “for we are well able to conquer it”! He gave a positive report, but majority of report of the spies sent by Moses are negative. They said “not against people as strong as they are”. The other spies said they would crush us, the land is full of warriors; the people are powerfully built. And we saw some of the Anakim there, descendants of ancient race of giants. We felt like grasshopper before them, they were so tall. Show me a negative thinker and I will tell you he will be crushed by his circumstances; Show me a positive thinker and I will tell you he will be more than a conqueror in his circumstances. Which are you?

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
