A CALL TO REPENTANCE
This write up is for all to return to the ancient land mark. Many have forsaken the ancient path. This is to trigger us to come back to the savior. The bible said come and let us return to the Lord, for he has torn, but he will heal us; he has stricken, but he will bind us up. After two days he will revive us, on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live in his sight. It is high time we are revived again. It is high time we wake up from our slumber. It is high time you stop been lukewarm, not too cold and not too hot. Don’t let GOD spit you out of his mouth. It is high time we pursue the knowledge of GOD. It is high time we are ever learning and able to come to the knowledge of the truth. It is high time we set our affections on things above and not things of the world. It is high time we live a holy life. It is high time we do the right things. It is high time we hunger and thirst after GOD. It is high time!!!! The bible records he was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our in iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed. What a Darling JESUS! What a Wonderful JESUS! That verse correlate with that I quoted earlier “for he has torn, but he will heal us, he has stricken; but he will bind us”. That is what the father of all can do and has done. It’s high time we come to the knowledge of this truth. A song lyric goes like this “Oh what a savior that he died for me! From condemnation he has made me free; he that believeth on the son, saith HE, hath everlasting life. It’s high time we please GOD. It’s high time we come to repentance from all our deeds. The bible said whatever a man sows that he shall reap. Don’t let CHRIST death’s on the cross be a waste. This is not just to Christians, but to all. It is high time!!!!!!!! Rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the LORD your GOD!
WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye. Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24: But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...
