EVERY GOOD THING 3!

EVERY GOOD THING 3!
Someone asked me these questions: We all want these good things, yes us all! What if it seems not to come? Is it that GOD does not like me or He has refused to be my Father in heaven? What can I do? These questions will be answered in this write up. To the first question, what if it seems no to come? GOD is a GOD of time and season. His ways are not ours, neither are his thoughts that of ours. Isaiah 55 vs. 8-9: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Ecclesiastes 3 vs. 1: To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. GOD has timing for everything. His timing is the best. Men find it difficult many a time waiting for GOD’s timing. There is always a set time. There is always an appointed time. Psalm 102 vs. 13: Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion; for the time to favor her yea, the set time is come. When it seems answers to request are not forth coming, we still have to keep waiting on GOD, for at his set time He will answer us. GOD knows best; He is OMNISCIENCE, OMNIPRESENCE AN
D OMNIPOTENT. He knows your desires, requests even before you tell him. Genesis 17 vs. 21: But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. Genesis 21 vs. 2: For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which GOD had spoken to him. If people can wait for GOD’s set time, He will surely answer them. The second question Is it that GOD does not like me or He has refused to be my Father in Heaven? GOD is a faithful Father, He loves all. 1 Peter 5 vs. 7: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. GOD is always there to lift our burdens. Isaiah 49 vs. 15-16: Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. GOD never forgets his children. His children are the righteous, the upright, and the ones that fear Him. No wonder, James 5 vs. 16b : The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. GOD’s eyes are too pure to behold iniquity. Iniquities separate men from GOD. Isaiah 59 vs. 1-2: Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have separated between you and your GOD, and your sins have hid his face from you that he will not hear.

On a final note, the last question what can I do? JESUS said in Luke 18 vs. 1: And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. 1 Thessalonians 5 vs. 17: Pray without ceasing. Also, waiting patiently on GOD hoping He will answer you. Then, not asking amiss; but asking according to His will. James 4 vs. 3: Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lust. Many ask things from GOD to intimidate others and some ask the right thing at the wrong time. Let’s always allow GOD’s spirit to help our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought. Kindly, share with others. It is well with us…

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
