BENEFITS OF DISCIPLINE 2!

BENEFITS OF DISCIPLINE 2!
I Timothy 6 vs. 6: But godliness with contentment is great gain. This is discipline! Many a time men lack discipline because they are discontented with what they have. The word covetousness means immoderate desire for the possession of something, especially for wealth. Much affection is set on worldly things; and not above. Colossian 3 vs. 2: Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. A man of discipline will be contented with what he has and won’t covet other’s wealth. Exodus 20 vs. 17: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house; thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, nor his man servant, nor his maid servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor’s. Many people’s problem today is covetousness. A man that covets what others have is an indiscipline man. David coveted Uriah’s wife Bathsheba and devised means to kill Uriah despite his wives. This is indiscipline, the bible said but the things that David had done displeased the LORD.

Indiscipline displeases GOD, men of discipline please GOD; men of indiscipline displease GOD. 2 Samuel 11 vs. 27: And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing David had done displeased the LORD.  Eli’s Hophni and Phinehas were punished by GOD because of their indiscipline. Gehazi’s covetousness and discontentment made him follow after Naaman. He desires bag of sheeps, oxen, olive yards, money rather than Elisha’s anointing. Naaman’s leprosy cleaves unto him and his seeds because of his greediness and covetousness. 2 Kings 5 vs. 26: And he said unto him, went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money and to receive garments, and olive yards and vine yards, and sheeps and oxen, and men servants, and maid servants? We are to take heed and beware of covetousness. Luke 12 vs. 15: And he said unto them, take heed and beware of covetousness; For a man’s life consists not in abundance of the things which he possess. Make contentment your watch word. Kindly, share with others. It is well with us.

OUR DAYS.

OUR DAYS Greetings to all reading on this platform worldwide. I write on this topic OUR DAYS even as   my twin sister and I are a year older today. Glory be to GOD for a new year and a new day. A song says great is thy faithfulness, Oh LORD my father, morning by morning new mercies we see, all we have needed his hands have provided, Great is thy faithfulness. Truly great is his faithfulness toward all men. Many are not convinced of these, many don’t see something special in GOD’s faithfulness towards them. David said “Then I lay down and slept in peace and woke up safely, for the LORD was watching over me. He GOD never sleeps nor slumber over us, we just find out we sleep and before you know it, you open your eye to a new day. This is the LORD’s doing and it should be marvelous in our sights. We are to see reasons to always appreciate and thank GOD for his goodness, mercies and faithfulness. That you are alive shows He is faithful. The gift of life which is the greatest of...

THE UNLIMITED GOD 2

THE UNLIMITED GOD 2 I start with Psalm 34 vs.8: O taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man that trusts in Him. Only those who have tasted the Unlimited GOD’s signs and wonder can say. The Israelites saw His mighty works. At a point He rained manna from heaven that they may be fed. He is ALL SUFFICIENT. When you are looking at a way, He has diverse of other ways. His ways are not ours; neither are His thoughts ours. As the heaven is far from the earth, so His ways are. GOD’s power cannot be limited and confined. It is far beyond human comprehension. When He does something, He does to be glorified. The whole world sees and know of a surety this is the hand of GOD. I can’t write all about GOD’s supernaturality. It is beyond extraordinary. It is paranormal. It is preternatural. Ephesians 3 vs. 20: Now to Him that is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works is us. GOD by his power work within us and does far mor...
