BENEFITS OF DISCIPLINE 2!

BENEFITS OF DISCIPLINE 2!
I Timothy 6 vs. 6: But godliness with contentment is great gain. This is discipline! Many a time men lack discipline because they are discontented with what they have. The word covetousness means immoderate desire for the possession of something, especially for wealth. Much affection is set on worldly things; and not above. Colossian 3 vs. 2: Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. A man of discipline will be contented with what he has and won’t covet other’s wealth. Exodus 20 vs. 17: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house; thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, nor his man servant, nor his maid servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor’s. Many people’s problem today is covetousness. A man that covets what others have is an indiscipline man. David coveted Uriah’s wife Bathsheba and devised means to kill Uriah despite his wives. This is indiscipline, the bible said but the things that David had done displeased the LORD.

Indiscipline displeases GOD, men of discipline please GOD; men of indiscipline displease GOD. 2 Samuel 11 vs. 27: And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing David had done displeased the LORD.  Eli’s Hophni and Phinehas were punished by GOD because of their indiscipline. Gehazi’s covetousness and discontentment made him follow after Naaman. He desires bag of sheeps, oxen, olive yards, money rather than Elisha’s anointing. Naaman’s leprosy cleaves unto him and his seeds because of his greediness and covetousness. 2 Kings 5 vs. 26: And he said unto him, went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money and to receive garments, and olive yards and vine yards, and sheeps and oxen, and men servants, and maid servants? We are to take heed and beware of covetousness. Luke 12 vs. 15: And he said unto them, take heed and beware of covetousness; For a man’s life consists not in abundance of the things which he possess. Make contentment your watch word. Kindly, share with others. It is well with us.

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

HE THAT COVERS

HE THAT COVERS To cover is to hide and to conceal. A man cannot be wiser than his Maker or Creator. GOD is our Maker; He molded us and formed us into what we are. He is the Potter, we are the clay. Jeremiah 18 vs. 6: O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? Says the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the Potter’s hand, so are you in my hand O house of Israel. GOD sees all and His foolishness is wiser than man’s strength. 1 Corinthians 1 vs. 25: Because the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men, and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men. A man that covers his sins prospers not; but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28 vs. 13: Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Cain was a tiller of the ground; Abel was his brother and was a keeper of sheep. Cain brought fruits of the soil as an offering to GOD, Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat; which the...

THE SPIRIT OF PERSIA

THE SPIRIT OF PERSIA The spirit of Persia is a spirit of delay. It is a spirit of blockage. It is a spirit of almost there but not there. It is a spirit that withholds answers to prayers. It is the spirit behind unanswered request. It is the spirit behind cutting short of expectations. The bible says in Proverbs 23 vs. 18: For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. The spirit of Persia prevents a door from opening and ensures a door is closed. Many a time when we pray, our prayers are answered; but a spirit called the spirit of Persia might hinder its manifestation. Many prayers have been prayed for years and has  been answered, but the effect of the answered prayers are not forthcoming. That is the spirit of Persia. Many are talented dreaming, seeing visions and have seen answered to their request, but it’s not manifesting in their physical lives. That spirit of Persia is no respecter of person, it must be dealt with for you to manifest. Romans 8 ...
