THE WANDERED SHEEP

                                             THE WANDERED SHEEP
Greetings to all in the name of our GOD. How has our walk with GOD being? The topic before us is termed the wandered sheep. What is a wandered sheep? who is a wandered sheep? These we shall elucidate. To wander is to move away from the place you ought to be or the people you are with. It is to go stray. Also it means a person’s mind or thoughts to stop being directed on something and to move without much control to other ideas. Many have drifted and wandered away, as believers or as GOD’s creation we are sheep’s and he is our shepherd. The psalmist says the lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. JESUS is the good shepherd he keeps and nurture us, that we may not lack nor want anything. So many of us are a wandered sheep, we have gone astray from the shepherd. We have left the place the shepherd put us. Our thoughts are not godly again. We take decisions on our own; we don’t ask the good shepherd on our decisions again. It is a disaster, lets picture this in a normal life, when a sheep goes beyond where the shepherd leads it, it wanders and get lost from other sheeps, that is how it is. In turn, if the sheep follows the shepherd’s rule, it won’t go astray; that is the picture am painting.
Unfortunately, most believers are lost, they have gone into the world and drifted away from the good shepherd’s plan for their lives. The psalmist says he maketh me to lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside the still waters, he restoreth my soul. When you are led and guided by the good shepherd you will be nourished, refreshed and restored. It continues yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. A sheep needs not worry, when a good sheep leads it; even though it encounters death, the good shepherd is there, because he himself conquered death. Are you a wandered sheep? Maybe you realized you have drifted from GOD’s plans for your life; you are a wandered sheep. A wandered sheep is he who is not led by the spirit. The bible said as many that are led by the spirit of GOD are the sons of GOD. A wandered sheep knows he no longer enjoy peace of mind like before; he is afraid of tomorrow. He has lost interest in the things of the spirit. A wandered sheep walks not in the spirit, he fulfills the work of the flesh. He is open to all dangers of life, because there is no one leading and guiding it. What a disaster, he has lost direction; he heads anywhere even if the zone he heads to is a danger zone, something is missing the Good shepherd.
Finally, if you find yourself in the category of the wandered sheep; it is not the end, but you have to find your way back to the Good shepherd, before it’s too late. 1Peter 2 vs 24 says: he personally carried the load of our sins in his own body, when he died on the cross so that we can be finished with sins and live a good life from now on. vs 25 says: like the sheep you wandered away from GOD, but now you have returned to your shepherd, the guardian of your souls who keep you safe from all attacks, come back to him. It is well…….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
