COMPLETE REST

COMPLETE REST
GOD promised us a place of rest; and his promises and word never falls to the ground. Everyone rest, probably after a stressful day or work. Rest is important in a man’s life, without rest in a man’s life, he worn out easily. When a man is workaholic and has no time for rest, he is endangering his life; how much more complete rest, before I define complete rest let me say this, GOD our creator himself rested after creating all in the beginning. He rested on the seventh day, everyone needs rest; if our creator rested, we need to rest too. Now complete rest is a full rest, rewarded rest, a state of eternal peace of mind, waiting for the qualified children of GOD. Complete rest is the kingdom of GOD. It awaits only the sheep and those without blemish nor spot on their garment.
Moreover, Hebrew 4 vs 8 says: This new place of rest, he is talking about does not mean the land of Israel that Joshua led the Israelite through. If that were what GOD meant, he would not have spoken long afterwards. It continues in 9, so there is a full complete rest still waiting for the people of GOD. Only the people of GOD are qualified for this complete rest. Just as in a normal human life, man needs rest, so also children of GOD need to enter into complete rest. Our GOD is a GOD that doesn’t lie, he is not a man that should, once he speaks, he does what he had spoken; how great is our GOD. The complete rest is not for everyone, because not everyone will be qualified to enter into it. It is a promise by GOD, that only his children would enter into it. It is a promise by GOD, that only his children would enter into it. Those that disobey God cannot enter into complete rest, only those that believe and obey well. Don’t be surprised now on earth, many don’t believe in complete rest, despite GOD’s promise.
Furthermore, the children of Israel were promised a promise land by God  and Joshua was chosen to lead them. Many of them don’t believe in it, and they didn’t get there, many disobeyed and served other gods, they didn’t get to the promise land. Complete rest is also our promise land, promised by GOD to us all, provided we obey and belief him.
Finally, Christ has already entered into complete rest. He is resting from the work, just as GOD did after the creation. I beseech us all, let us do our best to enter and make it to the complete rest at the end of the day by not disobeying GOD and having faith, a place of complete rest awaits us. It is well with us all……..

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
