SPIRITUAL FITNESS

                                           SPIRITUAL FITNESS
Spiritual fitness is just to be fit spiritual. It is not the physical fitness. It is a vital thing as children of GOD to exercise ourselves spiritually daily. The body exercise is all right, but spiritual exercise is much more important. The spiritual controls the physical, and so the spiritual exercise must be taken so serious. The bible said for we wrestle not, against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, rulers of darkness in high places. The flesh and blood is physical while the principalities and power, rulers of darkness in high places are in the spirit realm. They are not seen with a physical eye, they work in the spiritual realm. Paul said in 1 Timothy 4 vs 7: Don’t waste time arguing over foolish ideas and silly myths and legend, spend your time and energy on the exercise of keeping spiritually fit. We are to be fit spiritually, and we are to exercise our spiritual life on a daily basis. For our adversary the devil, moves to and fro, always looking for whom to devour. When you are not fit spiritually, the devil sieves such fellow quick and devours them quickly; but when you are spiritually fit, you can’t be devoured nor sieved as wheat, by the devil. The devil is the head of the rulers of darkness, and so he has his agents everywhere. They are not tired of their work, to steal, kill and destroy; that is why as Christians we are to be spiritually fit, ready to face the devil and his agent anytime. Many spend and waste their time on foolish ideas and myths. Many see studying and meditating the bible as waste of time; many see praying without ceasing as a silly myths or legend. Many see fasting as punishing themselves. All these are measure to be spiritually fit. Praying, fasting, studying the word of GOD. They keep you fit and get you set for the devil’s next plan.
Also, JESUS told his disciples, watch and pray so you won’t enter into temptation. Prayer is a master key, a praying side is a winning side. Prayers can’t be too much, Joshua 1 vs 8 says: this book of the law, shall not depart out of your mouth, but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. Don’t see studying and meditating the word of GOD daily as waste of time. For it empowers you physically and spiritually. The word of GOD is the sword of the spirit. So tell me, when you don’t study and meditate the word, how you will be able to use it in the spirit. When a man goes into the battle field in the physical world without a sword, he becomes the first prey and dies easily, because no sword to fight back. In turn, the sword of the spirit is important in the spiritual battle, and what you study and feed yourselves with physically, will help you spiritually.
Finally, the scripture said: Nay we are more than a conqueror in all. When you are spiritually fit, victory will always be yours. Show me a man that is spiritually fit and exercising himself spiritually and I will tell you victory is sure and he will be more than a conqueror always. I beseech us and encourage that we exercise ourselves spiritually, so we could be more than a conqueror. Halleluyah!!!!!!!!!!!!

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
