CHECK UP ON YOURSELF We all need to check up on ourselves frequently, because nobody knows tomorrow, nobody knows what happens in an hour time or days ahead. Are you really a Christian? Do you pass the test? Do you feel GOD’s power and presence more and more within you? Or are you just pretending to be Christians when actually you aren’t ? These questions are for us all. We need to check up on ourselves, if we are still on the right path. A Christian is someone that does as Christ does, what you can’t find Christ doing, you shouldn’t do if you are truly a Christian. But unfortunately, now most Christians do not act like Christ. They behave as though they are not Christians, unbelievers at times marvel and say he/she is a Christian, because of the fellow’s acts or behavior. As Christians we are to follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no man shall see the lord. If you want to see the lord in glory as Christians, you must live peaceably with all men and live a holy life. However, there is a test for everyone on earth; JESUS himself while on earth faced the test. 2 Corinthians 13 vs 4 says: His weak, human body died on the cross, but now he lives by the mighty power of GOD. We too, are weak in our bodies, as he was, but now we live and are strong, as he is and have all of GOD’s power to use. GOD’s power is there for Christians to be strengthened in our weakness; to live and wax stronger on earth. Expect your test, but be rest assured the power and victory is there for you. Many pretend to be Christians, I attend church daily doesn’t qualify you as a Christian, you are only a church goer. A Christian serves GOD with all his mind and heart, a church goer goes to church, just to fufill all righteousness, for eye service. You can’t pretend you are a Christian, when you are not. GOD knoweth those that are his, his foundation nevertheless standeth sure, having this seal. Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. A church goer might be saved and might not. If you are just a church goer, and not saved; you are just wasting your time. Finally, as Christians we are to feel GOD’s presence always, as many that are led by the spirit are the sons of GOD. We are to feel his power in us. Checkup on yourself now…..It is well with our soul..

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
