BE YE NOT UNEQUALLY YOKED To be unequally yoked is teaming up with some people. The bible says Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? We as believers are not to team up with unbelievers, because there is no harmony between Christ and the devil; neither is there no association between light and darkness. Many missed the way of salvation as a result of their unbeliever’s friend. The proverb says evil communication corrupt, good manners. Many are influenced by group of people they mingle and interact with. The bible says: And what union can there be between GOD’s temple and idols? For you are GOD’s temple, the home of the living GOD therefore shouldn’t be yoked with anyone that has idol in the heart; because before you know it, you start worshipping and harbouring idols. Where there is darkness before, when a light shines forth; the darkness disappear. We as children of light are to separate ourselves from any form of darkness. The devil has his children, the sons of belial; as Christians we are not to be seen in harmony of the children of belial. The bible said by their fruits, you shall know them. So you will surely know them when you see them, there should be no harmony with them. For we are not the same. They do not believe in GOD, they only believe in the devil; that is why we are not to enjoy doing what they do nor relate with them. However, many so called artistes are sons of belial, we are not to be yoked with them listening to their songs and viewing them has a lot to do in our lives. Be ye not unequally yoked together with them. When you listen to their songs, you are unequally yoked with them. Many also in the name of fashion wear what the sons of belial wear, you are part of them. We are not part of them and should separate ourselves totally from all activities of the sons of belial; we are children of the most high, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, peculiar people are we to show forth GOD’s goodness and glory. He has brought us from darkness unto marvelous light. Be ye not unequally yoked with the unbelievers. Halleluyah……..

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
