WHY ART THOU CAST DOWN?

WHY ART THOU CAST DOWN? The psalmist says why art thou cast down, o my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in GOD; for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance and my GOD. This write up is for all in one circumstances, adversity or challenges; no matter how difficult, sorrowful you circumstances is, hope thou in GOD. People might be asking where is thy GOD, you might even be querying GOD or questioning him, where are you GOD? Where is thy face? Why this challenge? Why this situation? Why? You still have to wait on GOD; the bible said those that wait on GOD, he shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint. That is why you have to wait on GOD, you don’t have to look elsewhere nor commit suicide. Just look unto the lord, the author anf finisher of our faith. JESUS said we shall face tribulations, adversity, but we should be of good cheers, he has overcome all. Everyone is poised to face one adversity, challenge or the other at some point; that shouldn’t be your grave, but you are to stand firm and look unto GOD. The bible said they looked unto him and their face were lightened and they were not ashamed. Show me a man that looks unto GOD, and I will tell you he won’t be ashamed. Sorrow may last by night, but joy cometh in the morning. However, take courage don’t be depressed nor gloomy no matter how hard the situation; for you shall overcome them all and yet praise GOD on it. Adversity, circumstances are sometimes test, chastisement for us from GOD, just for us to learn our lesson and that his name will be glorified. Whoever, the father loves he chastises. Also the joy of GOD should be your strength and sustain you through all the circumstances. You don’t have to be down casted, I have passed through a lot too, but what kept me standing was me hoping in GOD; though not so easy, but GOD comforted me during my adversity and he gave me joy at last; for I praised him at last. And so this is applicable to all, you shall yet praise him, if you hope in him in your adversity, circumstances, trials and situation. Hope in GOD is not ashamed, and can never, never be ashamed. Stay Blessed………………….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
