CHRIST AMBASSADOR

CHRIST AMBASSADOR As Christian’s we are all Christ’s ambassadors. An ambassador is an official who lives in a foreign country as the senior representative there of his or her own country. We Christians are representative of Christ, we are in foreign country; the earth is not our country, but the heaven is. And so we must represent Christ well on earth. 2 Corinthians 5 vs 20: we are Christ ‘s ambassadors GOD is using us to speak to you, we beg you, as though Christ himself were here pleading with you, receive the love he offers you. We should all spread GOD’s good news of the gospel; a lot on earth are yet to hear about Christ, that is why as an ambassador of Christ; we must reach out to such people, encourage and persuade them to receive the love Christ offers them. We are to tell them, GOD took the sinless Christ and poured into him our sins. Then in exchange; he poured GOD’s goodness into us. And accepting him will give them the opportunity to see GOD’s goodness and glory. Moreover, as Christ ambassadors; we are brand new person inside. We are not the fellow we use to be, a new life should begin in our lives. Old things are passed away and all things have become new. We should let go of our old self, and enter into a new self; we are to put off the old man in us and put on the new man. The old man are the works of the flesh, the new man are things of the spirit. Also, as Christ ambassadors our aim is to please GOD always in everything we do, whether we are here in this body or away from this body and with him in heaven. The bible said we know that when we die and leave these bodies, we will have wonderful new bodies in heaven, homes that will be ours forevermore made for us by GOD himself and not by human hands will be ours. Therefore, as an ambassador of Christ we must represent Christ well. We must be Christ like, whatever Christ doesn’t do, we shouldn’t do. The bible said for we must all stand before Christ to be judged and have our lives laid bare, before him. Each of us will receive whatever we deserve for the good or bad things he has done in his earthly body. We are Christ ‘s ambassadors and must stand for Christ and represent him well. May GOD gives us all the grace to represent him well on earth

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. How will you feel when you give something tangible to a person and he didn’t show gratitude? You will feel unwilling to do more for such person.
