WHY HAS THE LORD DONE THIS TO HIS LAND?

WHY HAS THE LORD DONE THIS TO HIS LAND?
This is a question people ask, when GOD in his anger and fury acts on a land. GOD is a merciful GOD; though he repented he created man, but yet still loves men. Despite men’s sins he still sent his only begotten son JESUS to come and die for the sins of men. He led the Israelites for forty years in the wilderness, yet their clothes didn’t become old, and their shoes didn’t worn out! He cared and catered for them. He fought for them and always destroys their enemies. He possessed lands for them. He prospered all they did; GOD did a lot for the Israelites; because he is a good, great and merciful GOD.
However, GOD made the children of Israel to stand and enter a contract with him. He made the covenant with them to confirm he is their GOD. And the contract is not with them alone, but to their future generations to come. He said the day that any of them man or woman, family or tribe of Israel begins to turn away from the Lord and desires to worship the gods of other nations, that a root will be planted that will grow bitter and poisonous fruit. GOD is a covenant keeping GOD, what he says he does and what he does he has said it. GOD also said let no one think he shall prosper even though he walks in his own stubborn way. For the Lord will not pardon! His anger and jealousy will be hot against that man. And all curses written in the book of contract shall lie heavily upon him; and the Lord will blot out his name from under heaven.
Finally, GOD will only do these because the people of the land broke the contract made with them by GOD. The bible said these are revealed so children will obey forever. Many are breaking their contract with their GOD. We all on earth have a contract with our maker. When you break the contract, GOD might not pardon. The bible said he that breaketh the hedge the serpent shall bite. The best is to obey all in the contract so as to be in good terms with GOD, so as to receive blessings attached to the contract and not curses. The contract is also a covenant; and to every covenant; there is a blessing when you are faithful and curses when you disobey. The bible quipped “The secret things belong unto the Lord our GOD, but these things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever that we may do all the words of his law”. It is well with us……

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

HE THAT COVERS

HE THAT COVERS To cover is to hide and to conceal. A man cannot be wiser than his Maker or Creator. GOD is our Maker; He molded us and formed us into what we are. He is the Potter, we are the clay. Jeremiah 18 vs. 6: O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? Says the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the Potter’s hand, so are you in my hand O house of Israel. GOD sees all and His foolishness is wiser than man’s strength. 1 Corinthians 1 vs. 25: Because the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men, and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men. A man that covers his sins prospers not; but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28 vs. 13: Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Cain was a tiller of the ground; Abel was his brother and was a keeper of sheep. Cain brought fruits of the soil as an offering to GOD, Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat; which the...

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...
