DRINK FROM YOUR OWN WELL

                       DRINK FROM YOUR OWN WELL
This write up is more of a proverb. Let he that has ears hear; lest he destroys himself. The bible said “For by means of a whorish woman, a man is brought to a piece of bread; and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life”. Many are married and still not faithful to their spouse. Part of GOD’s commandments include thou shall not commit adultery. But it is a common thing now all over the world. Some see it as a culture and tradition; it shouldn’t be. Samson is a good example, he was warned not to marry a foreigner, but he refused, he married a strange foreigner. Delilah brought a powerful and strong man to a piece of bread, and his life was hunted. The bible quipped: Can a man take fire in his bosom and his clothes not be burned? It will surely be burnt. Men/ Women that indulge in infidelity are taking fire in their bosoms and their clothes are set to burn. The bible also continued asking “can one go upon hot coals and his feet not be burned?” Obviously, it will be burnt. So he that goes in to his neighbor’s wife; whosoever touches her shall not be innocent. Many are ignorant of these; they call it enjoyment; but its destruction. The bible cannot fade, it stands forever. The bible said whoso commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; he that does it destroys his own soul. The bible said, the soul that sinneth shall die. GOD’s words are true and just.
Moreover, many couples nag always; he is not satisfying me or she is not satisfying me. It is better to drink from your own well, than drink a well that will destroy you. There is no perfect marriage, you two have to come together and settle things out believing GOD. The bible said, what GOD has joined together, let no man put asunder. When a man goes outside his home to commit adultery, he is putting asunder to what GOD has joined, likewise a woman. Proverbs 5 vs. 15: Drink from your own well, my son; be faithful and true to your wife. Wives be faithful, submissive and true to your husbands, drink from your own well. It is well with your marriages…....

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
