UNEXPECTED ANSWERS Greetings to all worldwide reading on this platform, been a while due to one activity or the other. Many a times we pray, but when it is getting so long without answers to our prayers, we think otherwise. Many pray but faint at the end, many pray believing GOD for a long time miracle, but are surprised when GOD doesn’t answer. GOD does as it pleases him. He knows better than we do. He knows everything and controls everything. His thoughts are not ours, neither are his ways ours. You might be expecting answer to your prayers quickly, but GOD might extend the answer just for him to be gloried. So you have to keep praying. The bible says pray without ceasing, you have to keep praying until your answers come. The bible said men ought to pray and not faint. Many a time when our answer comes, it is surprising, it is wonderful to us, because our GOD is a miracle working GOD and he is a perfect GOD. He has been faithful since the ages past. He remains GOD, the same today, yesterday and forever. You are alive just because of GOD’s grace upon your life. Many started this year with us but are no more, many started last month with us, but are no more. I am alive, you are alive, and it is good we show our gratitude to the Most High GOD. A song says great is thy faithfulness, Oh LORD my father, morning by morning new mercies we see, all we have needed his hands have provided, Great is thy faithfulness. THE THORN A thorn is a sharp protective spine of a plant. It is also that which pricks or annoys anything troublesome. Everyone has a thorn. A thorn is something that limits. A thorn can be likened to hardship, persecutions and difficulties. A woman once said while teaching, challenges are meant for us humans and not animals; so we must face it hoping in GOD. If you remember the parable of the sower, Mark 4 vs 7: And some fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it and it yielded no fruit. The sower planted and it felled among thorns, but was choked. That is what a thorn does, it chokes, and it leads to unfruitfulness. Despite hard labor by the sower, the thorn causes no harvest and nothing to show forth. Job faced his own thorn, he was weakened and down because of the  hardship, yet he believed GOD. MY TRANSCRIPT I write from my personal experience while in the university, hopefully I have a message to pass from my transcript. A transcript is an inventory of courses taken and grades earned of a student alleged throughout a course. I schooled at a university of technology, and all courses studied in my school runs for a period of five year. I started fairly in my first year and noticed the second year’s was so poor. After the second year’s result, I sat myself down and said I can’t continue this way. I remembered in the bible it was promised I am the head and not the tail, and that I shall be above and not beneath. I asked GOD why I have been running on poor performances, and He said through your beginning might be small, yet your latter end shall greatly increase. I fasted and prayed and told GOD I wanted my results henceforth to show forth his glory, because a fair and poor result doesn’t show forth GOD’s glory.
