LET GO 2

LET GO 2!

I start quoting Matthew 5 vs. 44-45: But I say to you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which spitefully use you and persecute you. That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven. For He makes His son to rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Many find it difficult to pray for those who persecute them, but if our heavenly Father GOD makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain to the just and unjust; then we should find a place in our heart to forgive and pray for those who offends us. JESUS replied Peter in Matthew 18 vs. 21-22: Then came Peter to Him, and said, LORD, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times?  JESUS says to him, I say not to you, until seven times; but until seventy times seven. As children of the Most High we shouldn’t find it difficult to forgive those who offend us. Vengeance Romans 12 vs. 19: Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves but rather give place unto wrath; for it is written, vegeanance is mine; I will repay, saith the LORD. is not ours, it is His. We are not to judge or condemn our fellow human irrespective of what they might have done to us. Joseph still found a place in his heart to forgive his brothers, despite what they did to him. When he became the Prime minister, he had the authority and power to revenge, but he let go of the grudges. He knew vegeanance is GOD and for him. His brothers meant evil for him, but GOD turned their evil into good and lifted him above them. Have you been offended by someone before? Are you still holding grudge against the person? How long will you hold the grudge? You need to find a place in your heart to forgive those who offend you. David forgave Saul despite Saul’s hunger and intention to kill him. He knew vegeanance is GOD and not his. Leave vegeanance to GOD and let go easily. Kindly, share with others.  HAPPY SUNDAY….It is well with us..

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
