LET
GO 2!
I start quoting Matthew
5 vs. 44-45: But I say to you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do
good to them that hate you, and pray for them which spitefully use you and
persecute you. That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven.
For He makes His son to rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the
just and on the unjust. Many find it difficult to pray for those who
persecute them, but if our heavenly Father GOD makes his sun to rise on the
evil and the good and sends rain to the just and unjust; then we should find a
place in our heart to forgive and pray for those who offends us. JESUS replied
Peter in Matthew 18 vs. 21-22: Then came
Peter to Him, and said, LORD, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I
forgive him? Till seven times? JESUS
says to him, I say not to you, until seven times; but until seventy times
seven. As children of the Most High we shouldn’t find it difficult to
forgive those who offend us. Vengeance Romans
12 vs. 19: Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves but rather give place unto
wrath; for it is written, vegeanance is mine; I will repay, saith the LORD. is
not ours, it is His. We are not to judge or condemn our fellow human
irrespective of what they might have done to us. Joseph still found a place in
his heart to forgive his brothers, despite what they did to him. When he became
the Prime minister, he had the authority and power to revenge, but he let go of
the grudges. He knew vegeanance is GOD and for him. His brothers meant evil for
him, but GOD turned their evil into good and lifted him above them. Have you
been offended by someone before? Are you still holding grudge against the
person? How long will you hold the grudge? You need to find a place in your
heart to forgive those who offend you. David forgave Saul despite Saul’s hunger
and intention to kill him. He knew vegeanance is GOD and not his. Leave
vegeanance to GOD and let go easily. Kindly, share with others. HAPPY SUNDAY….It is well with us..
