WASHING YOUR NET

         WASHING YOUR NET
I welcome us all to another new month and the second quarter of the year. GOD’s faithfulness has been evident so far. It is a great privilege to be among the living, it is a great privilege to have the gift of life; which is the greatest of all blessings. When there is life, there is hope. Hoping in GOD is not ashamed; when you believe in GOD, he can’t forsake you neither will he let you down. Those that look unto GOD, their faces were lightened and they were not ashamed. He that believeth in GOD shall not be put to shame. There is a GOD that can do the impossible. There is a GOD that can do all things. There is a GOD we can look unto. There is a GOD that is the present help in times of needs. There is a GOD that can restore and resurrect all that is dead. There is a GOD that can provide when all hope is lost. There is a GOD that can make a way, when there seems to be no way. There is a GOD that is called JEHOVAH OVER DO. There is a GOD that is called the MIGHTY GOD. There is a GOD that is called the MIRACLE WORKER. If you have experienced GOD’s awesomeness and miracle over an expectation, you will know truly HE is GOD. The bible records in Psalm 46 vs. 10: Be still, and know that I am GOD; I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Psalmist quipped, O taste and see that the LORD is good.
Washing your net is when it seems all hope is lost. It implies there is no help. It is when you give up. It is signing out. It is when expectations are cut off. It is when your petitions remain unanswered. It is when you are not remembered. It is when it seems you are forsaken. It is when you have long waited, but give up. It is when you weep and cry within. It is when you have gone out of your boat. Luke 5 vs. 2: And saw two ships standing by the lake; but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. They were washing their nets because, all hope is dashed. They have toiled all night and have taken nothing. There is a point in a man’s life when it will seems all hope is dashed; when it will seem there is no tomorrow and when one’s future will be bleak. But our Redeemer liveth, we have hope. He entered into their boats hope was restored. He entered expectations came to fulfillment. He entered sorrow turned into joy. He entered and petitions were answered. He entered there was provision. He entered there was solution. The Redeemer is JESUS! He entered the boat, the people were redeemed. Luke 5 vs.3: And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. Vs. 4: Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. Vs. 5: And Simon answering said unto HIM, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing; nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. Vs. 6: And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes; and their net break. It doesn’t matter how long you have lost hope. It doesn’t matter how long you have wept and cried. It doesn’t matter how long you have lost hope. Let JESUS come into your boat, so your hope can be restored. So your weeping can turn into laughter. He is at the door already knocking, let HIM in. It is well with us….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
