THE COMFORTER AND CONFRONTATIONS.

THE COMFORTER AND    CONFRONTATIONS

Let me start by welcoming us to a New Month, the Month of Manifestation and lifting. We bless GOD for his faithfulness thus far in our lives. In life we need a Comforter in our confrontations. The Comforter comports and comforts. The Comforter teaches all things. The Comforter brings all things to remembrance. The Comforter is the spirit of truth.  The Comforter is the Holy Spirit. The Comforter reveals deep and secret things. The Comforter is a helper. The Comforter leads us into the truth. The Comforter is worth having in life. John 14 vs. 26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. JESUS told his disciples while on earth, He would go away, and then he would send the Comforter. Also, in John 16 vs. 33: These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. CHRIST knew this world is full of tribulations and challenges that was why he came to overcome the world. He himself faced temptation from the devil after fasting for forty days and forty nights. In life, confrontations, challenges, tribulations, trials, adversity, difficulties, storms, problems are certain, but with the Comforter they can be conquered. Confrontations make us stronger and teach us a lot. Some are knocked down and defeated, when faced with life’s confrontation.
With the Comforter abiding in us, confrontations will be seen as a stepping stones. With the Comforter, there will be no fear when we face confrontations. With the Comforter we are led out of confrontations. With the Comforter we are restored in confrontations. With the Comforter we are comforted in confrontations, because He is our rod and staff. With the Comforter we are more than conquerors when faced with life’s confrontations. The Comforter guides and lead us in confrontations. The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 23 vs. 1: The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. Vs.2: He makes me to lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside the still water. Vs. 3: He restores my soul; He leads me in the path of righteousness; for his name’s sake. Vs. 4: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comforted me. Vs.5: You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup runs over. David was confronted by life’s circumstances but he was victorious and comforted; because he has the Comforter with him. We all need the Comforter in our life confrontations.
The Comforter will only abide with us, if we keep obeying the commandments of GOD and grieve it not. John 14 vs. 15: If ye love me, keep my commandment. Vs. 16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever. Everyone will be faced by life’s confrontation, you need the Comforter to be victorious and overcome. It is well with us… (Culled from The Anomaly of Life by Oyebamiji Joseph Kehinde)

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
