ISAIAH 64 VS. 4

ISAIAH 64 VS. 4 The word of the LORD is quick, powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and Intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight; but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. <Hebrews 4 vs. 12-13> The Beginning and the End is unpredictable. His words are quick and powerful, It discerns and pierces. Nothing is hidden from Him. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before his eyes. Isaiah 64 vs. 4: For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by ear, neither has the eye seen, O GOD, beside You, what He has prepared for him that waits for Him. Waiting is the act of staying or remaining in expectation. Waiting is not comfortable many a time. Waiting might tarry. Waiting might lead to frustration. Waiting needs a lot of patience. Waitin...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...

BEFORE YOUR SAMUEL COMES

BEFORE YOUR SAMUEL COMES Many a time one’s expectation might pend and hold. All may seem not rosy and smooth. People might tend to question your loyalty and faithfulness to serving GOD. People around you might make mockery of you. You might weep silently and be sorrowful within. You might think all hope is lost. You might conclude the end has come. You might lose interest in trusting GOD. You might be a subject of pity and sympathy. All doors might seem shut. All opportunities might seem not forthcoming. All stars and glory might not rise and shine. All efforts might be futile. All ways might seem blocked. All things might seem not working well.                      Hannah faced a lot before her Samuel came forth; she was a subject of mockery. Her rival Peninnah provoked and scorned her just because her Samuel isn’t coming forth. She was down casted, downhearted and her soul was disquieted. She wept a lot and tur...

THE DUTY OF MAN

THE DUTY OF MAN Duty is that which one is morally obligated to do. A husband in a house is responsible for meeting his family’s needs. That is the duty of a husband. A wife is responsible for taking care of the children and also house chores. That is the duty of a wife. A school teacher’s responsibility is to teach the students. That is the teacher’s duty. A student’s responsibility is to go to school, listen to what the teacher teaches and study them. That is the student’s responsibility. Our Creator GOD created everything for a purpose. Every creation has a duty to carry out. Unfortunately, many creations have failed in their duty. When a man doesn’t carry out his duty he is termed a failure. It causes the Creator GOD nothing to replace men with stones when they fail him. I pray may you not fail GOD!                However, there is time for everything. Don’t get excited and get carried away in this world. D...

TATTOOED NAMES

TATTOOED NAMES Tattoo is an image made in the skin with ink and a needle. Tattoos are many a time difficult to remove. When someone tattoos a name or an image, it shows he has affection for such thing. Affection is a feeling of love or strong attachment. Many human tattoo names on their skins, yet the name fail them. Many human tattoo images they believe in yet the images fail them. But there is someone who has tattooed our names upon his palm. There is someone who has set our walls continually before him. There is someone who has known us since we have been in our mother’s womb. There is someone who has hidden us in the shadow of his hands. There is someone who has made us a sharp arrow in his quiver. There is someone who never loves us conditionally, but loves us unconditionally. There is someone who has brought us out of darkness into his marvelous light. There is someone who never forgets us and deserts us. There is someone who has chosen us as a generation, made us a royal p...

TOLERANCE 2

TOLERANCE 2 Tolerance is the ability to endure pain or hardship. It means endurance. CHRIST exhibited tolerance because he obeyed his Father GOD when sent to the world. GOD’s love toward mankind is unfathomable. He that loves will tolerate, he that doesn’t love will not tolerate. Romans 5 vs. 8: But GOD commendeth his love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us. We were tolerated despites our sins and iniquity, CHRIST died for us. We were tolerated despite our sins and iniquity, CHRIST died for us. If CHRIST could tolerate us then we ought to tolerate others. CHRIST endured a lot just for our sake. Isaiah 53 vs. 5-7: But he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray we have turned everyone to his own way and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and he was afflicted yet he opened not h...

TOLERANCE

TOLERANCE I start quoting Robert Green Ingersoll “Tolerance is giving every other human being every right that you claim for yourself ”. This is a virtue every man scarcely has nowadays. Men nowadays find it difficult to tolerate each other. In all religions, Christians are to exhibit tolerance the most; because CHRIST stated that it’s the second greatest commandment. Matthew 22 vs.38-39: This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. But the reverse is the case now, most Christians exhibit intolerance. They can’t tolerate their Christian brothers talk less of those outside their religion. This is awful and not so good. Hebrews 13 vs. 1-2: Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unaware. Abraham exhibited tolerance, he suddenly noticed three men coming toward him and ran to meet them and welcomed them. He gave them water to wash their feet’s...
